DAY 1 / SATURDAY:
Arrival in Quito and transfer to your hotel
Upon arrival in Quito, you will be met by your local guide at the international airport. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and rest after your flight. Depending on your arrival time, you will have free time to begin discovering the charm of the Ecuadorian capital, located at an altitude of over 2,800 meters and surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes.
DAY 2 / SUNDAY:
Quilotoa: The Turquoise Jewel of the Andes
After breakfast, we'll embark on a journey through the spectacular Andean landscapes towards the Quilotoa region, considered one of Ecuador's most breathtaking natural treasures. From the panoramic viewpoint, we'll admire the magnificent Quilotoa Lagoon, whose intense turquoise hues contrast with the walls of the enormous volcanic crater that cradles it. This magical place, formed after an ancient eruption, is considered among the most beautiful volcanic lagoons on the planet.
For those who wish, there will be the option of descending the trails that lead to the shore of the lagoon, where they can enjoy a unique natural environment and even take a kayak trip on its calm waters. The return ascent requires considerable effort, so visitors can opt to use the traditional Andean mules, used for generations by the inhabitants of the region.
We will continue our journey with a stop in the picturesque village of Tigua, famous for its colorful naive paintings that reflect Andean culture, ancestral traditions, and the daily life of the local indigenous communities. Return to Quito.
DAY 3 / MONDAY:
Quito: Discovering the Colonial Jewel of the Andes
Ecuador's capital city captivates visitors with its spectacular location in the heart of the Andes and a fascinating history reflected in every corner. Accompanied by a local guide, you will explore Quito's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the best-preserved colonial ensembles in Latin America.
During the visit, you will stroll through charming cobbled streets and discover some of the city's most emblematic monuments, such as Independence Square, the Carondelet Presidential Palace, and the impressive Church of the Society of Jesus, famous for its extraordinary baroque decoration covered in gold leaf.
The tour continues to the El Panecillo viewpoint, crowned by the iconic Winged Virgin of Quito. From this privileged vantage point, you'll enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of the city, surrounded by the majestic Andean volcanoes—one of the most photogenic landscapes in Ecuador.
The program also includes a visit to the Intiñan Museum, located next to the equator, where you can participate in curious experiments and discover the secrets of the Middle of the World, the place where the northern and southern hemispheres meet.
Throughout the day, there will be time to visit a traditional artisan market, ideal for purchasing handicrafts, textiles, and typical Ecuadorian souvenirs. In the afternoon, return to the hotel and enjoy free time to relax or continue exploring the city on your own.

DAY 4 / TUESDAY:
Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve: Heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon
Early in the morning, we will arrive at a small river port, from where we will continue our journey by motorboat into the heart of the spectacular Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, considered one of the most fascinating and biodiverse corners of the Ecuadorian Amazon. This extraordinary natural sanctuary is home to an immense variety of ecosystems, including floodplains, lagoons, jungle rivers, and an astonishing wealth of flora and fauna.
During our journey, we'll immerse ourselves in a world dominated by nature, observing the daily life of the Amazon rainforest and enjoying virtually untouched landscapes. With a bit of luck, we might spot monkeys, tropical birds, reptiles, and other species that inhabit this natural paradise, considered one of the most biodiverse places on the planet.
Upon arrival at the lodge, nestled in the heart of the rainforest, we'll settle in and enjoy lunch surrounded by the sounds of the Amazon. In the afternoon, we'll head to one of the reserve's lagoons to witness one of the most magical experiences of the trip: the sunset over the Amazon rainforest. The golden reflections on the water, the sounds of nature, and the vastness of the forest create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.
As night falls, we'll return to the lodge for dinner and a rest in the heart of the rainforest. Accommodation for three nights in a nature ecolodge with full board.
DAY 5-6 / WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY:
Exploring the secrets of the Amazon
During these two days, we will delve into the fascinating world of the Amazon rainforest and experience some of the most authentic and unforgettable moments of the trip. At dawn, we will watch the jungle awaken as we hike along trails surrounded by lush vegetation and discover the extraordinary biodiversity that makes Cuyabeno one of the richest ecosystems on the planet.
Accompanied by expert local guides, we will learn to recognize numerous species of medicinal plants used for centuries by Amazonian peoples and discover the secrets of traditional medicine passed down from generation to generation.
One of the most interesting moments will be the encounter with a local shaman, who will share some of his ancestral knowledge, explain his healing methods, and introduce us to the cultural and spiritual significance of yagé (ayahuasca) within Amazonian indigenous communities. Those who wish can participate in an optional evening visit to the community to delve deeper into this ancient tradition.
The adventure continues with wildlife viewing, jungle excursions, and the opportunity to swim in the Amazonian waters surrounded by a unique natural environment. As night falls, we'll embark on exciting tours to search for caimans, amphibians, and other nocturnal creatures that emerge when the jungle takes on a completely different life.

DAY 7 / FRIDAY:
From the Amazon to Quito
After breakfast, we'll bid farewell to the Amazon rainforest and travel by motorized canoe along the Cuyabeno River to the Cuyabeno Bridge, where our private transportation will be waiting. From there, we'll begin our road trip to Quito, passing through the city of Lago Agrio and gradually ascending from the Amazonian plains to the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes Mountains.
During the tour we will enjoy a spectacular change of ecosystems, going from the lush tropical rainforest to the cloud forests and the Andean highlands, with magnificent views of the mountains surrounding the Ecuadorian capital.
Arrival in Quito in the late afternoon. Accommodation and free time to rest after an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
DAY 8 / SATURDAY:
Otavalo: Tradition and color in the Andes
After breakfast, we'll depart for Otavalo, one of Ecuador's most iconic cultural destinations. During the journey, we'll travel through the landscapes of the Northern Highlands and make a stop at either the Middle of the World monument or the San Pablo Lake viewpoint, depending on time.
Upon arriving in Otavalo, we will visit its famous Artisan Market, considered one of the most important in South America, where the indigenous Otavalo people offer colorful textiles, ponchos, rugs, jewelry, handicrafts and products made in a traditional way.
You will have free time to explore the market, discover the local culture, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic Andean city. In the afternoon, we will begin our return to Quito, where this comprehensive excursion will conclude.
DAY 9 / SUNDAY:
Quito - San Cristobal (Galapagos Island)
Morning transfer to the airport and flight to the extraordinary Galápagos Islands, specifically to San Cristóbal Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
The afternoon will be free to begin discovering the magic of this unique place, where nature and people coexist in a remarkable way and encounters with wildlife are part of everyday life. You can enjoy a relaxing swim in the Pacific Ocean or explore the surroundings of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno at your own pace.
We recommend visiting the popular Playa Mann, located just a few minutes from the town centre and harbour. In addition to its calm, crystal-clear waters, the beach is often occupied by friendly sea lions resting peacefully on the sand, offering an authentic Galápagos welcome. Nearby, you will find a picturesque lighthouse surrounded by black volcanic rocks, home to dozens of colourful red crabs that create a striking contrast with the lava landscape.
For hiking enthusiasts, a pleasant coastal trail leads to Punta Carola and continues towards the spectacular Cerro Tijeretas viewpoint, offering magnificent panoramic views of the ocean and the coastline of San Cristóbal. Below the viewpoint, a trail descends to Muelle Tijeretas, an ideal place for swimming and snorkelling in transparent waters full of marine life.
Another excellent option is to take a local taxi to the beautiful Playa La Lobería, one of the island’s most recommended beaches. As its name suggests, it is home to an important colony of sea lions, which can be observed in an extraordinary natural setting.
At the end of the day, we recommend staying to watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The colours of the sky reflected on the sea, together with the peaceful atmosphere of the Galápagos, create a truly magical and unforgettable experience.
DAY 10 / MONDAY:
San Cristobal (Galapagos Island)
After breakfast, you will have a free day to enjoy the island at your own pace. You can relax on its beautiful beaches, stroll around Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, or simply immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Galápagos Islands, home to one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on the planet.
For those looking for a more active experience, several optional excursions are available. For lovers of the sea, sailing and snorkelling, we particularly recommend the famous TOUR 360 (approximate price: 190 USD per person).
During this unforgettable full-day excursion, you will travel by boat around the entire coastline of San Cristóbal Island, visiting some of the most spectacular locations in the archipelago. Throughout the journey, you will have several opportunities to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean and discover the extraordinary diversity of Galápagos marine life.
One of the most exciting moments of the day is usually the visit to the iconic León Dormido (Kicker Rock), an impressive rock formation rising dramatically from the ocean. With a little luck, you may have the opportunity to swim alongside hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, rays, reef sharks and large schools of colourful tropical fish.
The excursion also includes a stop at the spectacular Playa Sardina, where you can enjoy an almost untouched natural environment, white-sand beaches and intensely turquoise waters. Later, at Punta Pitt, the easternmost point of the island, you will have the opportunity to observe the famous blue-footed boobies, one of the most iconic and photographed species of the Galápagos Islands.
The excursion operates with a minimum of one participant. Travellers will join a small group accompanied by a local English-speaking guide. The boats usually have a capacity of approximately 10 to 12 passengers.
DAY 11 / TUESDAY:
From San Cristóbal to Isabela (vía Santa Cruz)
After breakfast, we will transfer to the port to board a speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. During the approximately two-hour crossing, we will sail across the waters of the Pacific Ocean while enjoying the spectacular marine landscapes of the archipelago. With a little luck, we may spot dolphins swimming alongside the boat or some of the numerous seabirds that inhabit the Galápagos Islands.
Upon arrival in Puerto Ayora, we will cross by small boat to Playa Alemán, where we will begin a pleasant walk accompanied by a local guide. The trail will take us through giant opuntia cacti, lava formations and spectacular volcanic landscapes until we reach a picturesque natural crevice filled with crystal-clear water, a perfect place to swim, relax or snorkel surrounded by the unique nature of the Galápagos.
During the walk, we will enjoy magnificent views of the coastline and the volcanic scenery that characterises the island. After stopping at a panoramic viewpoint, we will return to the port to continue our adventure.
Later, we will board another speedboat towards Isabela Island, the largest and one of the most fascinating islands in the archipelago. We will arrive in Puerto Villamil, a charming coastal village known for its peaceful atmosphere, spectacular white-sand beaches and unforgettable sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
Upon arrival, accommodation for two nights with breakfast included. The rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy the island at your own pace. You can relax on its long sandy beaches, swim in the warm ocean waters or stroll along the coast as the sun sets over the horizon.
For those wishing to explore further, bicycles can be rented in the village to independently discover the peaceful surroundings of the island while enjoying some of the most authentic and unspoilt landscapes of the Galápagos Islands.
DAY 12 / WEDNESDAY:
Sierra Negra Volcano and the volcanic landscapes of Isabela
After breakfast, we will depart accompanied by a local guide for a fascinating half-day excursion to the impressive Sierra Negra Volcano, the second highest volcano and one of the most active in the entire Galapagos archipelago.
This extraordinary region offers a unique combination of volcanic landscapes, high-altitude rainforests, and a surprising diversity of vegetation. The northern slopes of the volcano are frequently shrouded in clouds and mist, creating a particularly fertile microclimate that fosters the growth of lush flora. Thanks to these conditions, some of the first settlers on Isabela Island established themselves in this area, scattered between Puerto Villamil and the small agricultural community of Santo Tomás, located in the island's interior.
One of Sierra Negra's greatest attractions is its gigantic caldera, considered one of the largest on the planet. During the hike, we can observe different types of lava flows and volcanic formations from various geological eras, creating a spectacular and almost otherworldly landscape. The area is also home to interesting birdlife, and with a bit of luck, we might spot species such as the elegant great egret, as well as other birds native to the Galápagos Islands.
After returning to Puerto Villamil, you will have free time to continue exploring the island on your own. We recommend visiting La Galapaguera, the conservation center where you can observe the famous giant Galapagos tortoises in a semi-natural environment very similar to their original habitat.
From there, you can continue along a marked trail that leads to several coastal lagoons frequented by elegant pink flamingos, one of the most striking sights on the island. During the walk, you'll also likely encounter numerous marine iguanas, unique reptiles whose prehistoric appearance perfectly reflects the wild and exceptional character of the Galápagos Islands.
DAY 13 / THURSDAY:
Tintoreras: Penguins, Sharks and Galápagos Wildlife – Santa Cruz
After breakfast, we will enjoy an exciting half-day excursion to the fascinating Tintoreras Islet, one of the most spectacular and iconic natural sites on Isabela Island. Accompanied by a local guide, we will sail along the volcanic coastline in a small boat, discovering some of the most extraordinary ecosystems in the entire archipelago.
During the excursion, we will have the opportunity to observe an incredible variety of endemic wildlife in its natural habitat. Among the most remarkable species are the charming Galápagos penguins, the famous blue-footed boobies, graceful sea turtles and the characteristic white-tipped reef sharks, which can often be seen resting in the crystal-clear crevices and channels formed between ancient lava flows.
Tintoreras is also home to one of the largest concentrations of Galápagos marine iguanas. These remarkable reptiles, found nowhere else in the world, move among the black volcanic rocks, creating a scene that seems almost prehistoric.
The excursion also includes a snorkelling session in transparent waters, where we can swim among colourful tropical fish, observe sea turtles and discover the extraordinary richness of the Galápagos underwater world at close range.
Later, we will walk along the trails of the islet, exploring impressive formations of solidified lava shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions. The contrast between the black rocks, coastal vegetation and intense turquoise shades of the ocean creates some of the most photogenic landscapes in the entire archipelago.
At the end of the excursion, we will return to Puerto Villamil. In the afternoon, we will take a speedboat to Santa Cruz Island, continuing our adventure through one of the most extraordinary places on the planet.

DAY 14 / FRIDAY:
Santa Cruz: Paradise Beaches and Excursions around the Galápagos Islands
This day is yours to enjoy at your own pace, relaxing on the beach, strolling around Puerto Ayora or discovering some of the most beautiful corners of Santa Cruz Island. For those wishing to continue exploring the wonders of the archipelago, several optional excursions are available, offering the opportunity to discover different ecosystems, landscapes and iconic Galápagos species.
One of the most popular options is a visit to Tortuga Bay (approx. 30 USD per person), accompanied by a local guide. Considered one of the most beautiful beaches on Santa Cruz, this spectacular location is known for its white sand, turquoise waters and abundant wildlife. During the visit, you may observe marine iguanas, pelicans, coastal birds and occasionally sea turtles. Its peaceful atmosphere and extraordinary natural beauty make it a true tropical paradise.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day will be free to relax after your adventure in the Galapagos Islands or to take a stroll through the city.
DAY 16 / SUNDAY:
Farewell to Ecuador and return
After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy your last few hours in Quito, take a stroll through the city, visit some of its most iconic attractions, or simply relax before your return journey. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the international airport for your flight back to Europe. This concludes an unforgettable trip through the breathtaking landscapes of Ecuador and the extraordinary Galapagos Islands, a place where nature remains the true star.
